 Christmas Angels
Patterned after a program adopted
by Downtown Salisbury, the Christmas Angel project will
be the first of its kind for Stanly County. Four local
artists, Michael Long, Brenda Mabry, Anita Ammerman, and
Carole Poplin, are each painting one of the four angels
that will be displayed in Courthouse Square Park this
Christmas Season and for the seasons to come.
 Uwharrie Players
The Uwharrie Players is Stanly County's Community Theatre organization. They will present "The Diary of Anne Frank" at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center. Adults are $10.00. Students & Seniors are only $8.00.

the Oakboro Music Hall on November 8, 2003. Admission is

Christmas Parade Schedule Announced!
Christmas is around the corner and the parades are scheduled. The Norwood Christmas Parade will be held on December 3, 2003 from 4PM-5PM.
The Oakboro Christmas Parade will be December 4, 2003 from 7PM-8PM. The Palestine Christmas Parade will be from 2PM-4Pm on December 7, 2003. The Albemarle Christmas Parade will be on December 8, 2003 from 6PM-7PM.
A Downtown Albemarle Christmas will be held on December 4, 2003 from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm and on December 5, 2003 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
Stanly County Concert Association

South Stanly High School Fall Festival
The 1st Annual South Stanly High
School Fall Festival will be held November 16 from 9:00
am to 3:00pm. Free admission to the public. Any vendor
