Toy and Food Drive
Stanly County Online is sponsoring a food and toy drive. We are asking for your support donating new unwrapped toys and non-perishable foods. The donations can be dropped off at our office, 160 North First Street in Albemarle or at Oakboro Tire and Tractor. For more information, please contact Pamela Perry at 704-244-1937. Operation Christmas Child
Central United Methodist Church in Albemarle is participating in Operation Christmas Child again this year. The church is also a Relay Center for Stanly and the surrounding counties. The collection for this event will be Nov.15 until Nov.21.During the week the collection center will be open from 1-6 p.m. Saturday 9-a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9a.m. until 2 a.m.Click here to learn more.

Edwin McCain In Concert
Nationally known singer/songwriter Edwin McCain will be in concert Saturday night November 27, 2004 at the "Oakboro Music Hall" Edwin is known for his hits "I'll Be" and "I Could Not Ask For More" along with "Solitude."
