Hard Rock Theme Park

Get ready to "Let the Good Times Roll. Hard Rock Park, the world's first rock 'n' Roll theme park, has broken ground and is ready to make some noise. It will be approximately 140-acre theme park boasting more than 40 attractions for rockers of all ages, including roller coasters, shows, children's play areas, restaurants, cafes and retail stores, a multi-purpose live music amphitheatre, and ultra-modern sound system.

Hard Rock Theme Park will open May 9, 2008 and includes a giant Gibson guitar that sti in the main entrance sections and be the first thing you see when you walk into the park. It is 70-feet tall and will play a large roll in the nighttime laser and fireworks show. At the top of the Guitar, a Gibson retail store will feature various guitars for sale.

The Hard Rock Park is located at the old Waccamaw Factory Shoppes location and will include a new hotel and other stores and is the only amusement park to carry the Hard Rock name. Ticket prices will be $50.


The Market Common Opening Soon

The Market Common is a 114-acre development that will include the finest restaurants, retail stores, and entertaiment. It is located at the old Airforce base in Myrtle Beach South Beach. It will include a vast range of stores including Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers Country Club, Carlyle & Company, Chico’s, Coldwater Creek, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Grand 14 Cinemas, HandPicked, Jake & Company, Justice, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Pottery Barn, Roy & Sid's, Soma Intimates, The Toy Isle, Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Store, Travinia Italian Kitchen, Victoria's Secret, White House | Black Market, Williams-Sonoma, Xtreme Surf & Skateboard Co. and much more! The shopping center will Open April 2008.


Founder's Club Opens in Pawley’s Island

The new Founder’s Club is now opened. The new Founder's, located on the old Sea Gull golf course course, was transformed into 7,007 yards of fun after a $7 million dollar overhaul. The course was designed by Thomas Walker features a old low country style club house, a large amount of natural wasteland and the quiet location of Pawley's Island.
