The Snyder Family Band, based out of Lexington, NC, performs a unique style of music infused with a wide range of styles and genres. They bring an exciting, talent-filled show to audiences of all ages and musical tastes.

There will be a recital on the stage of the Smith Civic Center upon completion!

*Participants should have at least 2 years of playing experience, and know at a minimum the scales required for all-districts auditions at their grade level. Pianists and guitarists should be able to build all major and minor chord and follow simple chord charts. All participants must be able to read music.

Summer Concert Series

Albemarle Parks & Recreation and Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation will host Thursdays at The Station for an annual summer concert series.

Concert goers will enjoy listening to talented musicians from this area playing a variety of genres of music. There is something for everyone.

This is gonna be one the biggest events StanCo has ever seen. Weve got 5 artists coming from all over: Nashville, Denver, Arkansas, and good old Stanly County itself. A year in the making is leading up to the event and trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. Proceeds will benefit the VETERANS, our local VFW and the AMERICAN LEGION. We arent releasing who alls comin yet, gotta keep yall on ya toes. Tickets will be available to be purchased online at a later date and at the fairgrounds the day of the event.

Locust Summer Concert Series

Join us for our 2018 Summer Concert Series in the Backyard of Locust City Hall!

This annual event is FREE and open to the public. It's a great way to spend your Saturday evening... relaxing with friends and family in our beautiful backyard with free entertainment and great food vendors! Bring a blanket and/or lawn chair, or pull your truck 'round back and tailgate!

Concerts begin at 6 PM and typically span about 3 hours.
